Recon Wave maps an organization's external attack surface: internet-facing domains, IP addresses, services, applications, technologies, and externally observable relationships that an attacker can discover or interact with.

In other words, we monitor your blind spots with advanced automatic discovery of all your online assets. We solve the fundamental problem of “what to protect”—and we do it from the public internet without agents, credentials, or internal access.

Recon Wave was founded by a team of cybersecurity experts from Czech Technical University. Our diverse, hands-on background makes us well-equipped to understand and tackle a wide range of security challenges.

  • Martin Repa

    Martin Repa

    Co-Founder

    Martin is an ethical hacker with extensive experience as a software engineer. Notably, Martin has identified numerous critical vulnerabilities in bug bounty programs and secured third place in a National Cybersecurity competition. This experience led Martin to co-found Recon Wave and automate his offensive security knowledge at scale.

  • Lukas Forst

    Lukas Forst

    Co-Founder

    Lukas is a solutions engineer who has co-founded companies before. He worked as a software engineer at Blindspot Solutions, Wire, CDN77, and Better Stack for most of his professional life. In 2020 he co-founded a healthcare startup, which is now a successful software provider in more than 70 hospitals in Czechia. Lukas is also a teacher at Czech Technical University in Prague.
